Amphenol RF has released a new AMC straight jack to BNC straight bulkhead jack adapter to its increasing line of ultraminiature products created to provide space-saving solutions for compact designs.

This new option for ultraminiature connectivity enables the secure bayonet coupling mechanism provided on the BNC interface to be mounted to the outside of a panel. This provides for simple attachment of an antenna or compatible BNC cable assembly. Inside the panel, an AMC jack, fully compatible with industry-standard U.FL and MHF1 products, may be connected to any length jumper assembly to mate with an ultraminiature module inside the box.

The durable AMC to BNC adapter is produced from brass and nickel-plated with a PTFE insulator and a gold-plated, beryllium copper contact. The 50-Ohm performance up to 6GHz is ideal for most commercial or industrial applications and IoT and smart products. This adapter joins a robust portfolio of coaxial adapters engineered for various traditional and emerging technologies.
